The 50% flat rate applies from the first qualifying paid referral and continues on eligible renewals. Commission uses verified net USD service-fee proceeds Swooni receives from Apple or Google. Store fees, taxes, refunds, and chargebacks can change the final amount.

Mobile app affiliate program questions

Who can apply to the Swooni affiliate program?

Creators of any audience size can apply, but the program is currently limited to verified registered companies, partnerships, nonprofits, sole traders, and other registered businesses. Private individuals are not eligible. There is no fixed follower minimum.

Do I need a paid Swooni subscription to apply?

No. A paid Swooni plan is not required to submit an affiliate application.

How are referrals tracked?

Once an invitation is recovered in Swooni and confirmed on an eligible new subscriber's account, the referral stays linked even if they skip the onboarding offer and subscribe later. A link click alone is not a confirmed referral. After a new iPhone install, they may need to reopen the link or apply their saved link or code before subscribing. Final payments are verified against Apple and Google reports.

Does Swooni offer recurring affiliate commission?

Yes. Affiliates earn the same 50% commission rate from the first qualifying paid referral, including future qualifying renewals.

Does Swooni support international creator audiences?

Yes. Swooni uses country-specific storefront pricing where Apple or Google supports it and regional pricing elsewhere. Choose where your audience buys in the calculator to see its monthly and yearly prices and estimate commission for that market.

What does a new subscriber save?

When available, eligible new subscribers can choose 25% off their first month or year during onboarding or later by entering their creator code before subscribing. They can also choose an eligible free trial and then pay the normal price. Their confirmed creator referral stays linked either way.

How and when do affiliates get paid?

Commission balances are calculated in USD, then converted and sent in the affiliate's local currency. The minimum payout is $25 USD, and smaller balances roll forward. Payout processing starts on the 25th and payments are sent within five business days. Available methods may include bank transfer, PayPal, Wise, or Revolut.

What happens if a subscriber cancels or requests a refund?

A referral must remain paid through the qualification period shown in the portal before commission becomes eligible. If they cancel sooner, no commission is earned from that payment. Refunds and chargebacks can later reduce or reverse commission, including after an earlier payout.

How are earnings calculated?

The flat 50% rate is applied to verified net proceeds Swooni receives from Apple or Google after store fees and customer-side taxes or adjustments in the final store report. Refunds and chargebacks can reduce or reverse commission. Swooni does not deduct your own income tax from this calculation; you remain responsible for tax on your affiliate earnings. Any VAT or invoice tax is handled separately through the approved payout profile. Commission is calculated in USD and converted to the affiliate's local currency when the payout is sent.
